Sadly, due to the ongoing pandemic, the Decatur Bicycle Club has decided to postpone the 2020 Amish Country Tour until 2021. We understand how sad this makes our riders, and believe us, we sure wish we could host this fantastic event for you too. Stay safe and we hope to see you next year.
Start/Finish: Arthur Community Building
120 E. Progress St.
Ample parking around the registration site.
Terrain is mostly flat to slight rolling hills. It’s perfect for all bicycle types and rider skill levels.
Route: Shorter loops (approximately 25 and 42 miles) take you past Amish-owned country stores and shops. Explore the longer 60 mile loop that takes you through even more back roads and by Amish homesteads.
Rest Stops: Ample snacks, fruit, drinks, and friendly folks to serve you.
Post Ride Meal: Pauly’s BBQ of Arthur will be serving your choice a pulled pork or pulled chicken meal at the Community Building. See registration form for prices.
Camp free Friday and Saturday nights! No reservation needed. Bring the grill if you like; exercise caution in use. Pets must be leashed at all times.
Pre-Registration: Mail or sign up online by August 30th and receive the pre-registration discount. Plan ahead and save.
Day of Ride: Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. 60-mile riders should be registered and start by 9:00 a.m. Shorter route riders may register until 10 a.m., when registration will close.
Sag Service: Sag vehicles will be on routes until 3 p.m.
Tee Shirts: Available with pre-registration and will be Xtreme-Tek breathable knit.
